TDS Safari Donations go to help Local Program... by Bo Neece

Sherri and Steve Kukla, the publishers if San Diego Off Road Magazine, run a non profit program called Thundering Trails on their property in Ocotillo Wells. This program gives inner city kids an opportunity to experience the desert with a weekend of supervised off road recreation.

Bill an I talked with them at Safari and found out that they were out of funds and might not be able to hold their 3 day, 2 night girls camp over Easter break, or their May event (the last of the season).

Robin and I have sponsored a child at their camp and find it to be a very worthwhile program. Aper talking with the Kuklas we were so taken with their passion for their program that we decided to help them by dona+ng the money we collected from our Safari donations. They felt extremely blessed and are excited to be able to finish their season.
